MASSAGES

Deep tissue

Deep Tissue Massage. Deep tissue massage therapy is similar to Swedish massage, but the deeper pressure is beneficial in releasing chronic muscle tension. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints).

Hot Stone

Hot stone massage is a natural therapy in which warmed stones are positioned on parts of the client’s body of to maximize the therapeutic benefit. The stones used are typically river rocks or other very smooth-surfaced stones made of basalt. These stones are heated in sanitizing water before use.

Rejuvenating Back Massage

Massage therapy helps you relax, re-align and rejuvenate. There are many positive aspects to receiving massage therapy on an ongoing basis, and with the busy lives we lead, we can all benefit from a little stress-management

Pregnancy Massage

Also known as prenatal massage is a type that’s similar to regular massage – it aims to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility, and just make you feel good. But prenatal massage is also customized to the needs of pregnant women and their changing bodies, and therapists trained in prenatal massage adjust their techniques accordingly.

Swedish massage

A Swedish Massage is the foundation for different types of Western massage treatments, including deep tissue massage and sports massage.
It functions to relax the whole body and calm the mind. It is well known for improving blood circulation, boosting oxygen level in the blood and decreasing muscle toxins.

Traditional Thai Massage

• A Thai massage is much different than many other types of massages. The big difference is Thai massage techniques are intended to energize the body.

HOW IT’S DONE

• The therapist will actually use their hands, knees, legs, and feet to move your body into various positions.
• You should think of a Thai massage much like yoga without doing any of the work.
• A therapist also incorporates muscle compression, joint mobilization, and acupressure to loosen body and joints.
• You will not only feel relaxed but energized as well.

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is the practice of using the natural oils extracted from flowers, bark, stems, leaves, roots or other parts of a plant to enhance psychological and physical well-being.
The inhaled aroma from these “essential” oils is widely believed to stimulate brain function. Essential oils can also be absorbed through the skin, where they travel through the bloodstream and can promote whole-body healing.
